Phillip Mark Smith, Jr.

  Phillip Mark Smith, Jr., 62 of Athens, a faithful Christian, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, at Hospice Family Care of Huntsville. Mr. Smith was born on November 4th, 1960, in Huntsville, to Phillip Mark Smith, Sr. and Mary Jewel Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife Karen Smith; sons Phillip “Zeb” Smith (Britteny) and Brandon Smith (Kerri); mother Mary Jewel Smith; sisters Vicki Workman (Melvin) and Suzi White; and 5 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father; and brother Mike Smith.

A memorial service for Mr. Smith will be at a later date.
