O.A. “Dutton” Turner, age 91, Haleyville, AL. passed away Thursday February 15, 2018. He served in the United States Navy, was a retired Truck Driver, enjoyed the game of Pool and attended Kelley Mill Baptist Church.

His visitation will be Sunday February 18, 2018 from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, with his funeral at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, with Bill Frank Wilson and Levi Patterson officiating. Burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery at Kelly Mill.

He is survived by his children, Mitchell (Patricia) Turner, Craig (Lisa) Turner and Theresa (Gary) Poe; sister, Bonnie ( Bill Frank) Wilson; grandchildren, Tansi Kidwell, JoJo (Christal) Turner, Shondra (Tony) Patterson, Stephanie (Jason) Tidwell, C.J. (Misty) Turner, Patrick (Shannon) Poe, Andrea (Jason) Long and Daniel (Heather) Poe; 31 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren; with a host of nieces and nephews who were like children.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Christeen Lawrence Turner; son, Byron “Michael” turner; granddaughter, Amanda Christeen “Amy” Turner; great great granddaughter, Emalee Alexander; sisters, Pauline Turner Overton and Wilma Turner Collier; brothers, Ellis Turner and Bill Turner; and parents, Solomon and Madgie Kelley Turner.

FEB 18. 12:00 PM – 02:00 PM
