NW-SCC to host COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Tuesday, August 31

MUSCLE SHOALS – Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) will host a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, in the Patriot Center (gym) on the Shoals Campus from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The Vaccine Clinic will be administered by Helen Keller Hospital and is open to NW-SCC students, faculty, staff, as well as the public and is free of charge. Appointments may be made at HERE. However, walk-ins are welcome and will be seen on a first come, first serve basis. Face coverings must be worn.

Participants 12 and up will receive the Pfizer vaccine. A second clinic designed to administer the second dose of the vaccine will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2021, on the Shoals Campus from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The clinic will not be providing vaccine boosters.

Due to vaccination age restrictions, participants 12 and 13 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to receive the vaccine.
