JASPER-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident in Walker County has taken the life of one person:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. Monday, August 19, has claimed the life of a Nauvoo woman.
Autum A. Hargett, 41, was fatally injured when the 2007 Toyota Sienna she was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned. Hargett was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Interstate 22 near the 56 mile marker, approximately one mile west of Jasper, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
