Staff Sgt. Nathan Mark Owen, 45, of Elkmont, passed away June 17th, 2023. Sgt. Owen was born on September 20th, 1977, to Victor and Carolyn (Greer) Owen.
Sgt. Owen is survived by his wife of three years Audrey Owen of Elkmont, AL; Sons Nathaniel Mark Owen, Jr. of Piney Chapel, AL, and Caleb Jacob Owen of Arab, AL; stepdaughters Jessica Necole Freeman of Cullman, AL, Leslie Marie Williams of Ireland, and Haley Elizabeth Williams of Cullman, AL; step-grandchildren Cole Michael Freeman and Baxton Lee Freeman; parents Carolyn Renee Elledge of Elkmont, AL, and Victor Own of Tennessee; stepbrother Jeremy Elledge of Illinois; sisters Rachel Lauderdale (Chris) of Elkmont, AL, and Naomi McMahan (Charlie) of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Sgt. Owen is preceded in death by his grandparents; his Pap Greg Elledge; aunt Lynda Edelen
The funeral service will be Sunday, June 25th, 2023, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, June 24th, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
