Funeral service for Minnie Jane Elliott, 83, will be Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Phelps, officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Elliott passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born July 31, 1941, in Hartford, Alabama to B.J. Meredith, Sr. and Flora Elizabeth Gilley Meredith.
She was a homemaker for her family, a good cook and a wonderful Pastor’s wife. She adored her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Pattillo Street Church of God, and was an amazing singer and pianist. She was an incredible artist (pencil art), loved most all crafts, and enjoyed cross-stitching and crotchet.
Preceding her in death were her parents, a great grandson- Gabriel McNutt and a son-in-law – Edward Williams.
Survivors include her Husband – Rev. John Elliott, Sons- Mark Elliott (Melissa) and John Elliott, II (Cory), Daughter – DiAndrea Williams, Brother – B.J. Meredith (Virginia), Sister – Jackie Yell, Eight Grandchildren – Candice Elliott, Leslie McNutt, Amanda Elliott, Lauren Bloodworth, Andria Pitman, Tyler Elliott, Brooke Elliott, and Maggie Elliott. and Eight Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Pitman, Adam McNutt, Jake Cofer, Tyler Elliott, And Spencer Appleton.
