Michael “Big Mike” Sorrell, 61, died at his residence on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Michael was born in Tupelo on October 13, 1963 to the late Henry Lee Sorrell and Willie Mae Hall Pittman, who survives. Big Mike was full of life. He loved spending time with his family and traveling. He was known for his expertise of installing car stereo systems and electronics.
A service of celebration will be held at a later date and will be announced by Holland Funeral Directors.
Big Mike is survived by his Mother, Willie Mae Pittman (Henry) of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Ricky Sorrell (Shena) of Tupelo, and Duane Greer of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Jackie Sorrell, and Lisa Crockett of Milwaukee, WI; several nieces and nephews and their families; and best friend, James Cox of Tupelo. He is preceded in death by his father and his step-mother Patricia Sorrell.
