Henry Thomas “Hoyt” Burks 75, of Elkmont passed away Sunday April 20, 2025, at Diversicare of Arab. He was a life long resident of Gadsden and worked for Gadsden Concrete for many years. He had moved to Elkmont to live with his brother due to failing health.
He is survived by his children: Scotty Burks and April Reed; brother: Wayne (Linda) Burks; special nephews and niece: Ricky Dorsett, Angie Dorsett and Steven Dorsett along with other family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be Thursday April 24, 2025, at 2 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with burial in Arab Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2 PM.
