Mary Morgan, 80, of Leighton, AL passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held at Colbert Memorial Chapel Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with service to follow and is open to any who wish to come and pay their respects. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Morgan; parents, Wilbur and Sylvia Pittenger and her granddaughter, Virgina Fisher.
Mary is survived by her seven children; Joseph Morgan, Jr., Lou- Ann McDonald (Tommy), Rose Gabourel (George), Bernadine Garrett (Buddy), Douglas Morgan, Patricia Martin (Al), Howard Morgan as well as her fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her best friend and companion Fred Thompson.
Pallbearers will be Terry McDonald, Matt McDonald, D.J. Fisher, A.J. Martin, Lane Morgan, and T.J. McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Garrett Jr., Joseph Garrett, and Sam Morgan.
Colbert Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
