Roger H Tow aka Scooter, 76, of Arab, Alabama passed away peacefully on Monday April 21, 2025. Diagnosed with cancer December 2021, Roger lived life as he always had, to the fullest.
Born December 8, 1948 in Kokomo, Indiana to Albert Harold Tow, Jr. and Norma Willene Erwin. Roger, a 1967 graduate of Kokomo High School was proud of his year of service in Viet Nam in the 173rd Airborne Brigade as a radio operator on the LRRP 6 man team. He loved motorcycles, doing restorations, riding around the country, traveling, and career being a Journeyman Electrician. Retirement was filled with projects from restoration of ’48 Chevy Pick Up, mowing grass, and camping across the USA.
His first love was family activities. Roger is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Edith Janice Rice, and his son Justin Tow. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved Joyce Stotler, son Travis Tow (Jennifer), grandson Trenton Tow, granddaughters Jayden Elmore (Kobi ), Mary Jay Taylor (Chase), Abigail Tow, two great grandsons
At his request there will be no funeral services, as his wish was to be cremated. In honor of Rogers love of life, please pay it forward with good deeds in his name.
