Mark Edward Horton, age 45, of Sheffield, Alabama, died, Friday, March 31, 2017. The visitation will be Monday, April 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Crowe Horton, David Cook, Billy Carmack, Micah Holt, Tommy Holt, Ricky Russem, and Glen McCann.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Malcom Horton.
He was a native of Colbert County and was employed at Elixir Metal Company. He cherished his cat Oreo and loved to fish and to ride four wheelers.
Survivors include his mother, Marie Horton, brother, Crowe Horton, aunt, Mary Ann Robinson, uncle, Leroy Milligan, ex-wife, Kimberly Grissom, girlfriend, Lela Duncan, best friends, Tommy Holt and David Cook.
