LIMESTONE COUNTY-The Limestone County Sheriffs Department issued a statement concerning an arrest on March 11 that resulted in charges of Distribution of a Controlled Substance along with several other charges being levied on a Limestone County resident:
“On March 11, 2024, the Limestone County Narcotics Unit and Limestone County S.W.A.T. Team conducted a search warrant in
Jeffrey Ray Pressnell,
the Clements Community. As a result of the Search Warrant, over $8,000.00 in US Currency, 21 Grams of Methamphetamine, Hydrocodone tablets, MDMA tablets, Marijuana, and 20 firearms were located.
Jeffrey Ray Pressnell, 55, of Athens, AL, has been charged with the following:
– Distribution of a Controlled Substance – Dangerous Drugs
– Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (MDMA/Hydrocodone)
– Possession of Marijuana 1st
– Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Pistol
Pressnell was out on bond for drug trafficking at the time of the arrest. He is being held in the Limestone County Jail on a bond revocation.”
