Judy Maritta Underwood, 85, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Kentucky to Alex and Elsie Russell Smith. She worked as a seamstress for 15 years.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 20, 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Lane Gallaway and Bro. Rick Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Hodge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her Children- Dean Underwood (Brenda), Dale Underwood (Tammy), Gary Underwood (Judi), Byron Underwood (Heather), Terry Underwood (Rose), Tracy Underwood, Kevin Underwood (Tiffany), Kim Underwood (Brittany), her grandchildren- Brett, Clay, Laken, Morgan, Easton, Emberly, Brady, Avery, Anna Grace, Cain, Braden, Lee, Kaleb, Harley, Adam, Tabitha, Melissa, Justin, Jennifer, Jessica, her great- grandchildren- Ava, Layla, Willa, Noah, Rylan, James Cutler, Lane, Brylee, Presley, Braden, 1- Sister- Brenda Sue Feltner, 1 Brother- Mackey Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Ervin Underwood, 3- Brothers- Fred, William, Forest, 3- Sisters- Daisey, Nanney Evelyn and Opal.
Pallbearers will be Clay Underwood, Adam Kay, Brady Underwood, Easton Underwood, Chris Reno, David Turner.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bervin Underwood and Troy Underwood.
Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 6-9 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL.
