Graveside services for Johnny Junior Hardy age 75, of Lineville were held Saturday September 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lineville Community Cemetery with Mark Smith officiating. Johnny passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2020 at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was the son of Willie Frank Lindsey and Mary Sue Hardy. He is survived by two sisters; Debra Ragland of Wetumpka and Mary Little of Lineville, five brothers; Franklin Hardy of Pittsburg, PA, Billy Joe Hardy, Willie H. Hardy, David Hardy, and Michael Hardy all of Lineville plus several nieces and nephews and cousins including Dorothy Hardy who helped take care of Johnny throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie Frank Lindsey, mother Mary Sue Hardy, one sister, Shirley Wood and a brother Ronnie Hardy.
Pallbearers were his nephews.
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville was in charge of the arrangements.
