John "Jack" RobertsJohn ‘Jack’ Westbrook Roberts of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 52.

Jack was born on St. Simons Island, Georgia in 1966. Affectionately called the “Georgia Souvenir” by his mother Alice, he grew up in Huntsville where he attended Holy Family Catholic School and graduated from Huntsville High School. Jack attended Marion Military Institute and graduated from Auburn University. He lived in Huntsville and worked for many years in the family business started by his father, until recently relocating with his family to Auburn.

Above all Jack was a man who loved his family with all his heart, exhibiting his unconditional love and support for his wife and children every single day. Jack was a man of great faith and was a long-time parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family, including his siblings, in-laws, cousins and his many nieces and nephews who considered him to be the coolest uncle ever. He was always known for his great sense of humor and wonderful stories and loved being the life of the party. Jack was a great and loyal friend to so many throughout his life; he was introduced to his future wife, Tricia by her brother and Jack’s best friend, Mike Baralt. He loved Auburn University and in so many ways was the epitome of an Auburn man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice Westbrook Roberts and Charles S. Roberts, Jr. He is survived by his beloved wife of twenty-two years, Patricia; his children, William Westbrook and Emma Grace; his siblings Frances Brown (Donnie), Charlie Roberts (Lynn), Ann DeYonker (Rod), and Alice Johnston (Randy); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Interment will take place on Friday June 14, 2019, at a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Town Creek Cemetery in Auburn.
