John E. Hairrell Jr. 70, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on June 3, 2016 at his Residence. Mr. Hairell is survived by his wife; Larua Anderson Hairrell, sons; Matthew Hairrell, James (Angela) Hairrell, Jeff (Brandy) Hairell, all of Iuka Miss. sisters; Darlene (James) King, Glenda Hairrell, Sheba (Tim) Sharpton, Peggy (Richard) Piona, Sissie Staten, sister in law; Jane Hairrell, grandchildren, Clint, Austin, Cole, Naomi, Ariana, Lauren , Lindsey, Megan, Kayla, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephwes, and a host of friends. Mr. Hairrell is preceded in death by parents John E. Hairrell, Sr. and Ruby Pearl Hairrell, step father; Woodrow Melton, brothers; William and Lonnie Hairrell, sister; Lovie Mae Brewer, nephews; Brian Hairrell, and Stevie Holland. Visitation will be on Saturday June 4, 2016 5-8 p.m. at Berryhill. Service will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Steve Stanfield and Mark Hankins officating with burial in Kelly Chapel Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting.
