Jim Panks

Jim Panks, 89 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, December 7th, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Panks was born on November 24th, 1934, in Pontiac, Michigan, to George and Mary Panks.

Mr. Panks is survived by his children Kimberley Olson, of Athens, Kenneth Panks (Kristina), of Sheffield, and Kristen Panks, of Athens; grandchildren Alexandra Sockwell (Zander), Austin Panks, and Jessa Sharkey (Alex); great-grandchildren Jaxton Sockwell, Jett Sockwell, Thomas Boedecker, and Lucy-Madelyn Boedecker.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Madelyn Panks; and brother David Panks.
