Mr. Jim Grissom, age 73, of Falkville died Saturday September 7, 2013. His service will be Tuesday September 10, 2013 at 4:00pm at Roundtop Community Church with Rev. Pearl Jenkins officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4pm Tuesday at Roundtop Church. Mr. Grissom was born October 12, 1939 in Cullman County Al. to Oscar Whitley Grissom and Eliska Louise Richter Grissom. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Brenda Tucker Grissom. 2 Sons: James Ronald Grissom (Liz) of Baltimore, Md. David Brian Grissom (Linda) of Hartselle, Al. 1 Daughter: Amy Grissom Luker (William) of Falkville, Al. 2 Brothers: George Grissom of Hamilton, Al. David Grissom of Vinemont, Al. 1 Sister: Janette Putman of Cullman, Al. 4 Grandchildren: Josie and Dillan Luker and Patrick and Ben Grissom. Masonic Lodge #396 of Falkville will serve as pallbearers. He was the owner of Grissom Real-Estate Agency. Mr. Grissom was a U.S. Airforce veteran.
