Funeral service for Lucille Maples Moon age 90 of Hartselle will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 1:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. T. Reynolds Hall and Rev. Bert Bunner officiating with burial in the Hartselle Memory Gardens Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moon, who was born on February 8, 1923 in Morgan County to Leanord Maples and Elsie Holloway Maples, died on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Riverside Assisted Living Center in Decatur. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband; E. O. Moon.
She is survived by a son; Vaughn Moon (Judy) of Hartselle a daughter; Marie Hagood (Lynn) of Somerville, a sister; Betty Gullette of Decatur, 2 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Jason Moon, Jerry Moon, Donavon Moon, John Maples, Roger Maples, Larry Lyle, Zackery Moses, Ronald Gullette and Carlton Lee Wilson will serve as pallbearers.
