Jewell Frances Stricklin Conway, age 88 years, 1 month, and 16 days, died on January 4, 2015. Native of Clifton, lived final years in Savannah, Tennessee.
She attended Methodist and Baptist church.
Graduating from Frank Hughes High School in 1946. Later in 1961 attended Willis Business College in Santa Monica, California.
Mrs. Conway worked in Oklahoma City, Spiegels Press Shop as sportswear manager. In New Orleans worked at Choadlers Shoe Store as cashier and bookkeeping of payroll. Also worked hotel work for Jung and Orleans Hotels. In Los Angeles, Secretary to Engineers at Leor Siegler, Inc. Telephone Company and Hughes Aircraft in the Control Dept. Also lived in Natchez, Mississippi and Baton Rouge, Louisianna. Retired from Thompson’s Bridal Shop in La Donnoh and ten years in florist work, arrangements and weddings.
Preceded in death by her parents, Nannie Holder Stricklin and Bentley Hermon Stricklin; by husband, Jeffery Dell Conway; one niece and one nephew
She was married for ten years to a Mr. Charles Leon Sisk of Louisianna.
She is survived by one brother, James Franklin Stricklin of Clifton, Tennessee, and three sisters, Bonnie Lois Garner of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Betty Lou MaGee of Irvington, Kentucky and Neva Kathleen Godwin of Adamsville, Tennessee.
