Clifton Roy Beavers, age 49 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on June 11, 1976. During his lifetime, he had done a little bit of everything and had most recently worked at Swann Equipment. Roy was ready to go on any adventure whether it was taking a ride or a day of hunting or fishing. He also enjoyed the simple things in life like having his Honey Bun and Mountain Dew while listening to country music. But most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family, especially his children and grandchildren. His loving and caring nature and outgoing personality that never met a stranger will be missed by his friends and family. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Clifford David Beavers; grandparents, Clifford and Georgia Beavers and Johnnie Ruth and Howard Trussell; and best friend, Rodney Duncan. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-nine years, Candice Beavers; mother, Patti Beavers; children, Brooklyn Beavers, Leah Beavers (Curtis McGee), and Shelby Beavers; brother, James (Denise) Scott; and grandchildren, Malaki Beavers and Emmy Beavers. The family wishes to thank Ronnie and Derek Swann for their love and support during this time. No formal services are planned at this time.
