Funeral service for Jeremy Scott Long, age 46, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Seth Keenum officiating. Jeremy passed away surrounded by his loved ones on April 14, 2025. He was born March 16, 1979, in Alabama to Jimmy Donald Long and Linda Faye Hughes Long. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jeremy was proud to be a graduate from Speake High School. He was a one of a kind man who would give the shirt off his back, and was always willing to help anyone at any time. He loved, and was very good at, fishing, horse shoes, throwing bags, and playing cards. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Jordon Hill (Ragan), Greyson Long, and Aliyah Simmons (Bradley); two grandchildren, who were the light of his world, Dax and Maggie Grace Hill; and his loving girlfriend, Benzie Bowers.
Pallbearers will be Jared Coker, Randell Proctor, Nick Reno, Shannon Barrett, Justin Blelew, and Lee Ragsdale. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Putman.
