Imogene Luffman Haddock, age 92, of Yorktown, IN, formerly of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025, at Heritage Assisted Living in Yorktown, IN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Salant & Salant, and a member of True Light Baptist Church in Muncie, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. and Gladys Cox Luffman; her husband, Andrew “Jack” Haddock; two brothers, Comer Luffman and Elmo Luffman; and three sisters, Virginia Small, Pearlene Dixon, and Ann Terrell.
She is survived by two sisters, Ernestine Williams of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Elena Glover of Florence, AL; several nieces and nephews.
While she never had children of her own, she had a deep and abiding love for children. Over the years, she helped raise and nurture multiple generations of nieces and nephews, pouring her heart into their lives as though they were her own. Her kindness, patience, and unwavering support left a lasting mark on the hearts of all she touched.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2025. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to A Kid’s Place/A Child Advocacy Center, 614 W Point Rd, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
