James ‘Jimmy’ Richmond Causey, 72, passed away peacefully with family by his side in close care of hospice in Huntsville, Alabama on October 12th, 2025.
Jimmy was a retired Troubleshooting Engineer with Chrysler. He loved the mountains, music, and most of all his family.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his loving parents, Howard Anderson Causey and Ruth Payne Causey; and his brother, Howard Anderson II (Andy). Jimmy is survived by his children, Len Causey and Charelle (Josh Hudgins); his sister, Christine ‘Christie’ Payne (Johnny Boozer);and his grandchildren Abbie, Ruby, Charlotte, Justin, and Willa.
Special thanks to our friends, family, and the staff at Hospice Family Care Inpatient Facility for their continued support and love in this time of grief.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m.
