James F. “Bro” White, Jr., 70, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born August 24, 1947 in Chicago, Il. and worked as a finish carpenter for twenty-seven years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam and was a member of the American Legion.
Services will be Saturday, January 20, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Ron Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years – Carol White, Red Bay, AL; three children– Jim White, Red Bay, AL, Connie White, Moulton, AL and Micki White, Belmont, MS; four grandchildren – Drew Inmon, Casey Inmon, Miranda Harville and Ansley Gooch and one great-grandchild – Carson Inmon.
He was preceded in death by a son, Danny White, his parents, James F. White, Sr. and Jacqueline Buettner White, a brother, Tim White and a sister, Judy Hatak.
Pallbearers will be Joe Jackson, Shane Montgomery, Eric Montgomery, David Lancaster, Phil Byram and Brian Lynch. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Allen, Craig Long, Gerald Jackson, Donald Thorn, Charles Lesley and Mitch Davis.
Visitation will be Friday, January 19, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
