Juanita Jones passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 17, 2018, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia. She was born August 13th, 1922 in Giles County and was 95 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was retired from Fafnir. She enjoyed quilting, making dolls, and loved to work out in the yard.
Visitation will be 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock Friday, January 19th, 2018, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The service will be 1:00pm Saturday, January 20th, 2018, in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Giles Memory Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. “JD” Jones, son, Dennis N. Jones, daughter, Connie R. McEown, parents, Burford B. and Lottie Roberta Grandstaff Hill, brothers, Buford Hill and WJ Hill, and sister Carolyn Harris.
She is survived by;
Daughter Theresa Jones of Pulaski.
Daughter Paula (Max) Kirk of Pulaski.
Daughter Cathy Jones Wiley of Pulaski.
Son Justin (Belinda) Jones of Pulaski.
9 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren
Sister, Rebecca Jackson of Minor Hill
Sister-in-law-, Betty Hill
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Juanita Jones.
