Isaac “Ike” Henderson Rogers, 86, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Rogers was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, a member of Russellville First Baptist Church, and was retired from AT&T as a cable repairman. He was a member of the VFW and was a member and past Grandmaster of Masonic Lodge #371.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at First Baptist Church with burial in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bert Fowler. The funeral service will include Masonic Rites at the church and military honors at graveside. The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, on Monday, September 9, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Mable H. Rogers, Russellville; daughter, Regina Rogers and special loved one Jennifer Watts, Atlanta; beloved dog, Prissy; numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Lula Rogers; three brothers and seven sisters.
