Iris Christine Hurst, age 90, of Athens, AL passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born to Major Butler and Julia Ann Segretain on January 25, 1925 in Florence, AL.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters and brother.
Services will be Sunday, November 8, 2015 at 3:00PM at New Life Assembly of God Church. Visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 1:00-2:45PM at New Life Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Christine is survived by her husband: Reverend Eliel Hurst, son: David Hurst (Pam) and sister: Mary Ethel Fields. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Suzanne LeCroix, Bethena Bynum and Samantha Klan, great grandchild: Olivia Grace Hurst and several nieces and nephews.
