Judge Mike Jones found Jeremy Williams guilty of murdering Rutland in 2013. Jones Sentenced Williams Thursday, January 28 to a life sentence.
According to reports Williams will have the possibility of parole and Williams did make mention that he did intend to appeal.
Rutland was reported missing in November of 2013. His body was found under the old Railroad Bridge in Sheffield in the river weighed down with concrete blocks. He was stabbed over 70 times as well as being shot.
