Glenn Holt was born July 6, 1942, and he went to be with the Lord on July 5th 2026 in the year of our Lord. He married Helen Tigue on October 18 1962 and the had one daughter: Lisa Holt Drake. He was an electrician by trade and a member of the international brotherhood of electrical workers since 1970. He traveled the nation and worked on construction sites and nuclear facilities, providing services as an electrician. He was also a master mason and he subsequently became a 32nd level Shriner. He took great deal of pride being a part in mission of the Shriners by transporting children who were patients with Shriners to their hospital appointments in the burn hospitals in Ohio as well as the orthopedic hospital in South Carolina. One of his most defining traits was his generosity, both in money and time. He loved children. Besides his noble efforts with the Shriners, he also volunteered with the exceptional Olympics. He also provided pizzas and his well reputed homemade ice cream for his daughter’s special needs classes. His benevolence extended beyond what was visible, as well. He positively impacted countless lives in a private manner. He was a man who truly loved his family. He loved merriment and bringing people joy. He and his grandson, Jonah Drake used to drive their golf cart in Christmas parades. He spoiled his family tremendously and extended his compassion to anywhere there was someone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Tigue Holt, his daughter and son in law, John and Lisa Drake, his grandchildren, Shawn Drake, Nichoel Whittaker, and Jonah Drake, his sister Vivian Pitts, his brother and sister in law, Nicky and Helen Holt, and numerous good friends, including his buddy Sam Rodgers.
