ROGERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident that involved a motorcycle has taken the life of one person:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 5:44 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, has claimed the life of a Florence man.
Sidney T. Hamilton, 19, was fatally injured when the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle that he was operating struck the 2019 Honda CR-V driven by Terry L. Albright, 63, of Nanty Glo, Pa. Hamilton was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene. Albright was injured and transported to Athens Limestone Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred on U.S. 72 near Little Elk Road, approximately two miles east of Rogersville, in Limestone County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
