Farrah Rollings Farrah Rollings
June 24, 1977 – August 22, 2020

Farrah passed peacefully in her home on August 22, 2020, surrounded by her friends and family. She was born on June 24, 1977 to Everett and Carolyn Brownlee and has two younger siblings: Tiffany and Jennifer. Farrah grew up in Greene County, Alabama, graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and moved to the Huntsville area after college. In 2004, Farrah was married to Wesley Rollings, son of the late Roger and Tereasa Rollings, and they had two daughters: Olivia (2007) and Allison (2009). During that time, she held a position as a Math/Reading Intervention Teacher at Morris Elementary and later taught Pre-K at Twickenham Kids. Farrah was diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2016. She taught until January of this year when her declining health prevented her from continuing to do so.

Farrah loved her kids, both at home and in the classroom. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She found many ways to serve others, whether at Twickenham Church of Christ where she was a faithful member, or through various charitable organizations such as the Liz Hurley Foundation where she served as the Survivor Chair for the Ribbon Run. She also loved the children at the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center and volunteered there.

She is survived by her husband Wes, daughters Olivia and Allison, parents Everett (Buddy) and Carolyn Brownlee of Eutaw, sister Tiffany Cross, and husband John, of Northport, and sister Jennifer Rigby of Talladega. She was proud of her three nieces and one nephew. She is also survived by her Aunt, Gail Garnand and Uncle, Rick (Vicki) Lancaster.

Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service being held Wednesday, August 26th at Twickenham Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m. A livestream of the funeral service will also be available. www.twickenham.org

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntsville Inner City Learning Center, 2450 Brahan Avenue SW, Huntsville, AL 35805 (www.hiclc.org).
