Eunice Wright, 89 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Ardmore Health Care.
Born Saturday, May 15, 1926 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Boyd and the late Nina Hill Boyd. She was a lifelong resident of the Ardmore area and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She loved flowers and gardening, and especially her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Malcolm Houston Wright, and a brother: Duel Boyd.
Surviving are daughter, Mary (Larry) Wallace of Ardmore, AL, grandchildren: Heather (Tim) Steckel of Mason, OH and Holly (Lyle) DuBois of Birmingham, AL, great-grandchildren: Jacob DuBois, Julia DuBois, and Declan Steckel, niece: Linda Jones, and nephew: Doug Boyd.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Lynn Marshall and Dr. Ray Stonecypher officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
