Edward Franklin Fowler, age 63, of Tacoma, Wash.,
died Dec. 6, 2013.
A graveside service will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, with military honors, Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marie Fowler; nephew, Tommy Montgomery; and brother-in-law, Fred Montgomery.
He is survived by sisters, Betty Montgomery and Doris Hendrix; nieces, Freda Bevis and Beverly Peters; nephews, Anthony and Robert Hendrix; greatnieces and greatnephews; stepson, Shaun Schatz, of North Dakota; and special friends, Bill and Diane Myers of Washington.
Ed graduated from Central High School in 1970. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, last serving as a Specialist 4th Class, stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash. After retirement, he worked as a civilian contractor at Fort Lewis. He was best known for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting elk and deer in the mountains of Washington and fishing with his friends and family.
