Driver identified in Sparkey’s crash

Tuscumbia-The driver of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado who lost control of the truck and slammed into the side of Sparkey’s  just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26 has been identified as Walker Ricks, 41, 115 Graham Ave., Tuscumbia. The impact was so severe that the driver had to be freed from his truck by Tuscumbia firefighters.  Mr. Ricks was taken to Helen Keller Hospital where he was treated and released.  The investigation is still on going according to Sargent Stuart Setliff.
