Dot Hinckley was born on November 1, 1919, in St. Louis, MO. She died on December 23, 2019, at the age of 100, in Madison, AL.

She was predeceased by her husband, Francis F. “Buddy” Hinckley, Jr.; her son, Michael F. Hinckley, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Virginia Hinckley; sons-in-law, Robert Zimmerman and Robert Stubbs; grandson, David Hinckley; and step-grandson, Dr. Randy Stubbs. Dot is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Zimmerman of Bellevue, WA and Melinda Stubbs of Renton, WA; grandchildren, Michael Zimmerman (Beth), Esther Malka (Yossi), Sharon Zimmerman (David Tutton), and Susan Stewart (Josh), Deborah Marceau, Charles Stubbs (Emily Strong), Mari Hinckley Wear (Eric), and Michael Hinckley, Jr. (Brandi Rene Fitzgerald); and great-grandchildren, Bauer and Grant Zimmerman, Yehudah, Yonah Mordechai, Raziel Yitzchak, Moshe David, and Ariel Malka, Morgan Marceau, Kristabelle Hinckley-Bates and Calypso Hinckley-Wear, and Jacoby and Matthew Hinckley.

The family would like to thank Valley View Health and Rehabilitation for the wonderful care our parents received over the years. It is greatly appreciated.

A private service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, remembrance may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Huntsville Public Library Children’s Section, or Fantasy Playhouse.
