Joni Gruber, of Madison AL, redeemed child of God, passed away peacefully the evening of December 16, 2019, at the Huntsville Hospice Center. Joni was born July 19, 1947 in Wausau, WI. She became a child of God through the washing of holy baptism that same year. Joni was united in marriage to Robert Gruber at Martin Luther Church in Chicago on January 15, 1966. She was a Master Gardener of Limestone County and also enjoyed playing cards, being with her friends, and most of all, she loved Jesus who loved her first. Joni was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Gruber, who passed away in 2010.
Joni is survived by her daughter, Gina Gruber; siblings, Jean (Gene) Dees, Angie (Mark) Hannah, Jerry (Michelle) Muzynoski, Jim (Denise) Muzynoski, Jeff (Ellen) Muzynoski, and Margie Muzynoski.
A memorial service for Joni will take place on Saturday, January 11th, 11:00 AM at Lamb of God Lutheran Church, 11716 County Line Rd in Madison, AL with a light lunch to follow.
