Dorothy Alice Wilemon – Obituary

Dorothy Alice Wilemon, 77, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 4, 2013, at her home. She was born March 18, 1936, to E. M. and Mildred Riley Conn. She was a homemaker and a great Christian lady. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Services will be at 4 p. m. Sunday at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jackie Gray and Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Edward “Bill” Wilemon; one son, Randy Wilemon (Helen); two daughters, Debbie Cooley (Ronney), all of Fulton, and Mitzi Wood (Robert) of Golden; eight grandchildren, Misty Wood, Marty Wood (Julie), Matt Wilemon (Bethany), Mike Wilemon (Shea), Justin Cooley (Roxanne), Allison Cooley, Corey Moore (Brittany), and Anna Beth Moore; eight great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Wood, Morgan Wood, Jordan Wood, Paul Martin Wood, Mackenzie Wood, Jace Cooley, Wyatt Beasley, Wesson Wilemon, and Sutten Wilemon; one brother, Flois Conn (Jonell); one sister, Betty Sheffield (Martin), both of Nettleton; two sisters-in-law, Gearldean Wilemon of Fulton and Kathryn Conn of Tremont; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Conn; one sister, Earlene Conn; one grandson, Chris Cooley; and one daughter-in-law, Donna S. Wilemon.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Visitation will be from noon until service time on Sunday at McNeece – Morris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons, P.O. Box 753, Fulton, MS 38843.
