Donna Lacy Carriger, 81, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024. Donna was born in Huntsville and graduated from Huntsville High School. She worked for 25 years in special education in Huntsville City Schools and was a member of East Huntsville Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Mildred Patterson Lacy. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Jerry Carriger; children, Stephania Baggs (Jonathan), Brant Carriger (Wendy), and Kedra Baggs (Mark); grandchildren, Sydney (Wes) Thornhill, Catie (Conrad) Lee, Will Baggs, Juliana Baggs, and Baynard Baggs; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Bill Cantrell officiating.
