FLORENCE – Lauderdale County Detention Center escapee Jerry Don Crowden, who escaped the jail Saturday morning, has been captured by police approximately 5.5 miles from the jail.
A little over an hour ago, the Tuscumbia Police department arrested Crowden on North Cave Street. No further information regarding the arrest has been given at this time.
