Lurlene Blackwood Hughes, age 82, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, June 01, 2013 at her residence in Summertown, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN,, a Seamstress and Sales Clerk for Peebles Dept. Store and a member of Summertown Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Loyal and Ada Staggs Blackwood, one sister; Ollie Blackwood, and two brothers; Richard and James Blackwood.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 04, 2013 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 05, 2013, with Bro. Howard Kitter officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
