David A. Brown, 80, of Rogersville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2025 at his residence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1st from 5 – 7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 12 noon at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial will be at Harvey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Thomas, Will Brown, Mitchem Smith, Michael Brown, Brock Brown and Daniel Brown.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar & Evelyn Brown; brothers, Dearl Brown and Larry Brown. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Julia Brown; children, Rhonda (Danny) Jones, Tony (Karen) Brown and Troy Brown; grandchildren, Taylor (Mitchem) Smith, Will Brown, Allie Beth Brown and Courtney (Micah) Embry; great-grandchildren, Anniston Smith, Oaklyn Smith, Addi and Lexi Embry; brothers, Thomas Duel (Edith) Brown and Jerry (Becky) Brown; sisters-in-law, Marie Brown and Betty Brown; many nieces, nephews and friends.
