Clay L. Day, age 90 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Ridgewood Health Services. He was born July 23, 1933 in Benton, Tennessee to Maggie Day.
Graveside services will be Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Walker Memory Gardens. Eric Day will officiate.
Mr. Day was preceded in death by his Wife of nearly 36 years-Evelyn Day; Mother-Maggie Day; Son-Joe Day; Daughter-Susan Kozieracki; Brother-Kenneth Day; Sister-Mildred Disney.
He is survived by his First Wife-Rosalie Day; Sons-Thomas Day (Eve), Eric Day (Lisa), Darby Day (Yongson), and Daniel Day; Stepdaughters-Phyllis Fisher (Jerry) and Susan Erskine (Scott); Stepson-David Lowther; A Host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren.
Clay honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, giving 20 years of service in Louisiana, New York, Alaska, Oklahoma, Utah, Saudia Arabia, Germany, and North Dakota.
