Charles Keith Moyers of Athens, AL passed away on April 7, 2025. Keith was born to Larence and Elizabeth Moyers on December 8, 1962, in Athens, AL. He married Tammy Moyers in 1986 (deceased). Their children are Tanya Mitchell, Erica Moyers, and Jacob Moyers.
Keith was a local pastor for many years, serving in local churches, such as Oakdale Baptist Church and East Highland Baptist Church. He had a heart for serving his church community, as well as local and international missions. In addition, he was a devoted father, working hard to ensure that his children had anything they needed. He also worked as a computer programmer for many years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larence Moyers, and his mother, Elizabeth Moyers.
He is survived by his sister, Stephanie Stinnett (Stacy), as well as his brothers, Tony Moyers (Ruth), and Tracy Moyers (Shirl).
He is also survived by his two daughters, Tanya Mitchell (David) and Erica Moyers, as well as his son, Jacob Moyers. In addition, he is survived by four grandchildren, Garrett, Gregory, Micah, and Kelsey.
In honor of Keith, the family invites friends and family to an informal visitation from 9:30 to 11:00 AM with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM on April 26th in the community room of the New Athens Recreation Center.
