Carolyn Haraway Jones, age 73, died Saturday. Mrs. Jones was born, Sept. 19, 1942, in Lauderdale County, she was a homemaker, and a member of Clements Baptist Church. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Old Mount Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Terry Herston officiating, burial in the Thornton-Ingram Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the service time at the church.
Survivors include, brother, Gerald Haraway, Fairhope, Alabama; sister, Marie Camp, Rogersville, Alabama; two nieces, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Effie Haraway, sisters, Audene Varnell and Husband, Enous, Celestine Haraway, Nell Haraway, brothers, Franklin Haraway, James Haraway, and an infant brother. Pallbearers will be Michael Camp, Lloyd Blackwood, Matthew Herston, Tommy Word, and Glenn Camp. Spry Funeral Home is assisting the family.
