Mr. Howard L. Trout, age 67 of Bolivar, passed away Saturday morning, February 13, 2016, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Howard Lynn Trout was born Friday, April 30 1948, to the late Eugene Howard Trout and Mildred E. Lipford in Obion County, TN. On August 11, 1967, he married Charldean Trout. Howard was a member of the Bolivar First Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School, served as Audio/Video Supervisor, helped put up the Christmas tree, and attended missions to Venezuela and Mercaibo. Mr. Trout was a graduate of Trimble High School and served in the United States Air Force. He served thirty four years as Director of Maintenance at Western Health Mental Institute. Howard enjoyed gardening, as well as hunting and fishing in years past. He was ready to help others, and be an encourager. Howard spent most of his life living in Obion County until moving to Bolivar in 1964.
He is survived by his wife, Charldean Trout of Bolivar; a son, Scott Trout of Harrogate, TN; a brother, John Trout of Bolivar; two sisters, Jeannie R. Trout of Troy, TN, and Anna Jo Trout; and four grandchildren, Taylor McMillan, Chase Fleming, Caden Trout, and Connor Trout. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Howard Trout and Mildred E. Lipford; and a sister, Sammi Carol Thornton.
