Bonnie Easterwood, 69 of Boaz formerly of Arab passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at her residence. Bonnie was born June 6, 1953, in Blount County the daughter of Delbert and Kathleen Smith Franklin. She was married to Kenneth “Bud” Easterwood who passed away on July 28, 2001. She was a member of God’s Way Ministries.
She is survived by her son: Kendall (Courtney) Easterwood; sisters: Gail (Gary) Harvell, Mary Franklin, Brenda (Dale) Whisenant, Linda Franklin and Kathleen Franklin; brothers: R.V. (Kathy) Franklin, Ray (Tammy) Franklin, Lynn Franklin and Delbert Franklin; grandchildren: Bryce and Maddie Easterwood; nieces and nephews: Jay (Ashlee) Harvell, Justin (Brittney) Harvell, Amanda Leak, Misty Jenkins and Brad Moultrie; great nieces and nephews: Katie, Cain, Colby, Calab, Devin, Autumn, Kash and Krew. She is preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth “Bud” Easterwood; parents: Jack and Kathleen Franklin; grandparents: Jay and Mattie Smith; sister: Billie Shaver and great niece: Abbie Gail Rogers.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022, at God’s Way Ministries with Brother Gary Harvell officiating. Burial will follow in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Friday God’s Way Ministries.
