Bobby Glenn Dennis, 86, Jasper, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Bubba Cole and Bobby Denton officiating. Interment will be in Shoals Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia.
Bobby was a veteran of the US Army National Guard and a longtime member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ. He retired as a Regional Manager in the US Department of Commerce. Bobby was the former director of the Chamber of Commerce in the Shoals area. After moving to Jasper, he served in the same role there. Bobby was an accomplished painter and sculptor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Johnson Dennis and Eula Miller Dennis.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Susan Dennis, of Jasper; children, Mark G. Dennis (Tanya) and Angela A. Looser (Bill), all of Muscle Shoals; grandchildren, Lauren Kate Clanton (John), Rachel Jennings Goins (Bart), William “Houston” Looser; Amber Brooke Dennis, and Ashton Drew Ruggles (Ryan); six great-grandchildren; and stepdaughter, Cheyenne Wingard.
