Anita Kay Greenway QuallsMs. Anita Kay Greenway Qualls, age 73, passed away Monday in Jackson. She was born April 23, 1951 in Lexington to the late Cleo Buckley and Nashie Blankenship. She was retired from MIG and was a member of Luray Baptist Church where she loved to play the piano and sing. She loved going dancing and singing.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Larry Greenway and Buster Qualls; two brothers, Gary Buckley and Don Buckley; one sister, Linda Burkeen; and two grandchildren, Corey Tucker and Candice Tucker.
Survivors include her son, John Greenway (Tracey Walters); two daughters, Amanda McDaniel and Sonia Tucker (Tim); her special friend, Roy Corley; two brothers, Roger Buckley (Lisa) and Terry Buckley (Nancy); two sisters, Penny Barnes and Judy Brantley; six grandchildren, Brooke Bedwell (Jason), Bradley McDaniel (Emily), Nathan Tucker (Haven), Wesley Greenway (Victoria), Bethaney Greenway and Brantley Greenway; and three great grandchildren, Dawson Bedwell, Emberlee Greenway, and Ava Greenway.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Nebo Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 5 – 9 PM and on Wednesday, 9 AM – 2 PM.
