Betty Morris, age 75, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013. She was retired from Marshall Durbin, member of Eastern Star, member of Haleyville Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation is Friday, February 8, 2013 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville with service following at 3:30 PM at the funeral home.Officiating the service, Bro. Billy Robbins, Bro. Jerry Boyles, Bro. Billy Brasher. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Lafern Morris, Tommy Morris and Cindy (Jerome) Lawson; sister, Madalyn Mitchell; brother, Richard Jones; grandchildren, Buddy (Sam) Morris, Britany Morris, Tanisha (David) Canida, Amme Lawson, Dakota Morris and Erin Morris; great grandchildren,Rylie Morris, Gracie Morris,Kaleb Harrison, Aiden Morris and Blake Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Malcom Jones and Minnie Louise Yeager Jones; husband, Fernwood Morris; infant son, Fernwood Mitchell Morris “Little Fernwood” and son John Riley Morris; grandson, William Mitchell Morris, daughter in law, Sonya Morris; sister, Frances Louise Swann; brother, Malcom Leroy Jones.
